Gerald Hector talks with Jamaican Olympian, Mr. Davian Clark

This week Gerald Hector speaks with Jamaican Olympian,  University of Miami Hall of Fame Athlete and current Assistant Track and Field Coach at the University of Texas at El Paso, Mr. Davian Clarke. An elite athlete who made his first Olympic team at the age of twenty, shares his life's journey from Spanish Town in Jamaica to the highest levels in the sport of track and field around the world. A staunch advocate for educating student athletes, he shares his personal ups and downs and how he has crafted a message of inspiration and encouragement for young athletes who want to make it to the next level. This is another episode you do not want to miss. Grab a young student athlete and tune in to listen.

It's Easy Son: Life Lessons on Your Journey To Your Promise is a weekly, one-hour broadcast of interviews of thought leaders from a broad spectrum of society where we ask them about their journey from childhood to the place they hold now in society. The show is birthed out of my first book published in October of 2019. It is entitled, "It's Easy Son, Quit Making Things Difficult: Lasting Life Lessons from a Coach and Mentor".
