Environmental justice is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a safe, healthy environment—regardless of race, income, or zip code. Environmental hazards such as pollution, hazardous waste, and climate impacts often disproportionately affect communities of color and low-income neighborhoods. Advancing environmental justice means working to correct these imbalances by advocating for fair policies, community engagement, and sustainable practices. By empowering communities to take action and holding decision-makers accountable, we can ensure that clean air, water, and land are rights enjoyed by all, not just a privileged few

Economic Inclusion is about ensuring that everyone—regardless of race, gender, zip code, background, or circumstance—has fair access to economic opportunities, resources, and financial security. Historically, many communities have faced barriers such as discriminatory lending, wage gaps, limited access to capital, and exclusion from wealth-building opportunities.

Economic inclusion means dismantling these systemic barriers and supporting policies and programs that:

• Expand access to entrepreneurship, business ownership, and meaningful employment.

• Promote fair wages, worker protections, and benefits.

• Ensure access to affordable banking, credit, and financial education.

• Support affordable housing, homeownership, and asset-building for marginalized groups.

• Foster inclusive economic development that uplifts underserved neighborhoods and supports local businesses.

Advocating for economic inclusion is essential for closing wealth gaps, preventing displacement, and empowering individuals and communities to thrive. Achieving justice in economic policies benefits everyone—driving shared prosperity and building a foundation for long-term equity and resilience.

Healthcare justice is the pursuit of equitable, affordable, and culturally competent health care for all. Deep-seated disparities in healthcare access and outcomes persist, especially among Black, Indigenous, and communities of color, as well as rural and low-income populations. Barriers like uninsurance, bias, and provider shortages demand bold advocacy. Our commitment is to fight for policies, programs, and awareness that close these gaps—ensuring every person can achieve their highest level of health, without fear of discrimination or neglect.

Legislative justice recognizes the power of laws and policy decisions to shape daily life. For too long, many laws have furthered inequality and excluded vulnerable communities from the democratic process. Advocating for legislative justice means working to ensure that legislation at all levels advances fairness, accountability, and protection for everyone. This includes educating citizens, mobilizing communities, and holding elected officials accountable so that our voices and needs drive policy—not special interests or outdated prejudices. Together, we can create a legislative landscape that reflects justice, equity, and dignity for all.
