The HBCU Nation welcomes Katina's Klassroom to #SmartFunStuff on HBCU Smart TV and HBCUiRadio

Updated: Jan 8, 2021

The HBCU Nation is proud to partner with Katina Rankin and her non-profit, Katina's Klassroom! Ms. Rankin reads her published children's books to educate and inspire the next generation of thought leaders!

Katina’s Klassroom stands on a firm principle: With Books You Can Go Places. #READ. Thus, our mission is to significantly improve the reading skills and educational opportunities of Pre-K to middle school children in under-served communities. We spark a love of reading and knowledge by building children personal, home libraries.

It’s our goal to bring awareness, help, hope and healing to those often overlooked due to economic insecurities. By developing action plans with schools and creating techniques for getting a child engaged in reading beyond the classroom, plus tackling food insecurity which is directly tied to a child’s learning – we focus on nourishment for the mind, body and soul. We invite you to enter Katina’s Klassroom to continue making a difference in a child’s life.

Katina's Klassroom is a 501c3 nonprofit that stands on a firm principle: With Books You Can Go Places. #READ. Thus, our mission is to significantly improve the reading skills and educational opportunities of pre-k to middle school children in underserved communities.

Katina's Klassroom airs during HBCU Smart TV's segment entitled, " SMART FUN STUFF" providing children's programming in support of the K-16 Educational Pipeline.

Katina's Klassroom can be heard on HBCUiRadio (bit.ly/HBCUiRadio and Amazon Alexa ) and seen on HBCU Smart TV ( ROKU, Amazon Firestick and HBCUSmartTV.com/watch-live).
