Here at The HBCU Nation, we're all about advancing America's efforts towards the goal of reclaiming the title of "the world's #1 producer of college graduates by 2025". We believe that HBCUs figure prominently in making that happen; particularly in the STEM disciplines. That's why we are actively involved, oftentimes, collaboratively, with other HBCU advocates, agencies, that seek the support of the philanthropic, business, government, military, and education communities in a national effort that invests in HBCU programs and initiatives.
It is well documented that the Corona Virus pandemic has had a devastating impact on the African-American community. In support of Federal agencies, it's great to see how HBCUs have provided oversight for COVID19 testing, vaccine clinical trials and community outreach about the dangers of the virus. In line with our commitment to continue to leverage our platform towards developing and producing New Media offerings to engage, inform and deliver value to the HBCU community, we developed and launched our digital media platforms, HBCU Smart TV and HBCUiRadio to help facilitate the transition within the HBCU community to "the new normal".
So, we endeavor to provide non traditional educational programming to support the K-12 pipeline and continue to keep our viewers and listeners up to date on matters pertaining to HBCU governance and policy, entrepreneurship, workforce development, philanthropy and fundraising, PR and marketing, major sporting events, student affairs and alumni relations.
